Gastown F.C.

Gastown FC was started in early 2010 by the editors of Inventory Magazine and have teamed up with CYC the owners and manufacturers of Reigning Champ to produce a capsule collection for their football club.

Passionate fans and active players themselves, they wanted to create a team that was more than just a Sunday League team but also a creative outlet for like minded individuals to incorporate the game both on and off the pitch on a regular basis. When Sheffield FC, the oldest football club in the world started out I do not think that this was their objective, but this is maybe why they are languishing in obscure mediocrity while Gastown FC claimed the double in their first season after beating their Metro Soccer League Div III rivals 6-2 in the final.

Manchester Utd, Barcelona etc will probabl y be contacting them soon on how to turn a football club into a global brand as they have done a really nice job with this.

GRP Knitwear

Since 1973, GPR knitwear has been manufactured in the Tuscan hills near the city of Florence. This is a region famed for it's food, agriculture and craftsmanship. The knits have that rare combination of quality, simplicity and modernity. What may seem as incidental to some but a real attraction to us was the fact that the guy (Gianni) taking the order was also the designer and owner of the company. Dressed in a lovely navy knit, worn with some battered selvedge denim and a pair of beautiful old Redwings, his product seemed an extension of his own aesthetic.
