In 1991 we first set eyes upon and hence started to sell what we now know to be the iconic Red Wing Irish Setter. For us this is one of the greatest boots of all time. it was not long after this that we started to sell Tricker's shoes and boots and two of our favourites have been the beautifully simple Kendal shoe and the Super Boot, both in C Shade. The Super Boot has been the inspiration behind some of our most successful collaborations to date. Another great shoe was an American buck influenced Visvim that we stocked in spring 2003. These shoes are the inspiration behind what for us is the ultimate casual shoe and boot.
For spring we have more Kendal's and Polo Chukkas to add to this story, some with the Vibram and some with a red microlite sole.
In the coming weeks we expect to receive a small run of jeans from Tellason. Tellason are an all American independent jeans company based in San Francisco, established in 2008. They use selvage denim from the famous Cone Mills White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina, they are cut and sewn in San Francisco and the leather patch is made by Tanner Goods from Portland, Oregon.
There is an interesting interview with Tony Patella of Tellason over on A Continuous Lean - check it out.
The guys over at h(y)r Collective have just released the latest online issue of their magazine. All very interesting features including an interview with Daiki Suzuki from Engineered Garments and Chris Olberding from Gitman Bros including news on their own forthcoming collaboration.
Our Spring/Summer Engineered Garments collection can be found here and we will have Gitman Bros in the coming Autumn.
