We thought it would be good to let you know about some of the new products that we have coming in the autumn. There seems to be a lot of anniversaries to celebrate this year, including our own - 20 years in December. Read on for some quick news on what to expect in the coming months...

• Gitman Bros: This shirt maker from the USA is based in Philadelphia. They make a really great shirt and are the shirt producer for Thom Browne. We have some great plaids, washed oxfords and small checks button downs coming from them along with a few ties and bow ties.
• SNS Herning is a knitwear producer we have coming in the Autumn. This is a small third generation family company from Denmark who replicate from their archives beautiful pieces that they made for the local fishermen in their home area. This is simplicity, functionality and quality at its best.
• Yuketen: we have collaborated with this cult American footwear company to make a “special” for us of their classic Maine Guide boot. This is some thing that is available only at The Bureau.
• New Balance: It is the classic 577's 20th Aniversary and, as with the 576 last year, there will be a special release of 2 original colourways. More 670's, 991's, 1400's and 510's also to arrive as well as a special release exclusive to ourselves and one other UK store.
• From Adidas we will have the TRX original colourway and Nike will be releasing a flywire version of the classic Air Max 87 in both original red and blue colourways.
• C.P. Company: Another Anniversary we will help celebrate this Autumn - the Mille Miglia Jacket. Aitor Throup has designed a special version to commemorate 20 years of this famous jacket.
• Expect the usual greatness from Woolrich Woolen Mills and Engineered Garments especially as we look forward to entering our 10th season with E.G. Also look for a European exclusive on Workaday.

Celtronic 2009

Every year the guys from Derry pull out all the stops to produce an amazing lineup for Celtronic and this year is no exception with appearances from international guests including Ulrich Schnauss, Dixon, Brodinski and James Yuill along side London disco specialists Horsemeat Disco and house stalwart Tom Middleton.  Some great local talent on display too - Boxcutter, Space Dimension Controller, Darren Allen, Deep Fried Funk DJs and Phil Kieran among many others.

Celtronic takes place at various venues across Derry City from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th June. All the info is on the site including travel and accomodation news.

David Simon at The Ulster Hall

This Sunday we can look forward seeing the Baltimore creator of The Wire, The Corner and Generation Kill in conversation at The Guardian Hay Festival, which comes to Belfast for the first time.  

I'm sure you have all at least heard of The Wire. Regarded by many as the best series made for televison, and having watched several interviews with David Simon i am really looking forward to hearing him speak.
